    • Carry out maintenance and repair of all the mechanical production equipment in a safe manner

    Tasks

     

    • Carry out the maintenance and repair of all pipelay equipment

Mission

 

  • Execute safe maintenance of Mechanical Rotating Equipment and Machinery, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international std.
  • Execute the activities in conformance with prescribed routed time in order to meet department objectives
  • Follow instructions and advises from hierarchy with regards to acceptable attitudes and behaviors

Tasks

Maintenance Execution

  • Ensure that the services are carried out in strict compliance with company current HSE rules
  • Strictly comply to contractor superior instruction for the smooth execution of the services
  • Execute Maintenan ce Preventive and Correctives operations (routine and short-term)
  • Identify and diagnose breakdowns or anomalies on equipments, devices, package, or systems
  • Control and check the equipments, installations, material at the vario us interventions stages using measuring devices
  • Replace or repair the defective elements or instruments
  • Carry out the maintenance tasks needed to the corrective and preventive maintenance of the components, devices, package, or systems
  • Maintain a permanent anticipation on the potential problems that could occur in the production plant, with close relationship with other sections, in order to prevent non-productive or non-efficient operations

Maintenance control /reporting

  • Take part in different daily, weekly and site coordination meetings when required by Foreman
  • Prepare Maintenance reports break down for submission to his Foreman
  • Prepare comprehensive data reports on operation (routine or other)
  • Inform Foreman for any abnormal situation with regard to stock of raw materials, consumables and tools
  • Keep informed Foreman by appropriate reporting, on the progress of maintenance operations task and, if necessary, of difficulties encountered
  • Follow-up the maintenance activity through a Work Order system and approve the maintenance Work Order reports through the use of the most common CMMS (SAP-UNISUP-MAXIMO-DATASTREAM, etc.)
  • Carry out the final controls and the associated maintenance tasks planned by CMMS
  • Fill and sign the data sheets which represent the maintenance file
  • Update the information for CMMS

QHSE/Training and Development

  • Request and use the appropriateness of the operating and maintenance procedures and, if necessary, ask for clarification
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety through language, behaviour and actions
  • Ensure the correct behaviour in accordance with the general safety regulations of the subsidiary
  • Be actively involved on his self training and development by using any type of training tools available
  • Ask foreman / Supervisor for support and clarification regarding training material/ vendor Data Sheet, etc.
  • Keep udpdated his on-the-job learning log book when present at site

MISSION

 

  • Manage and maintain offshore equipment through coordination of the assigned team, respecting HSE and Quality procedures and practices.

TASKS

 

  • Manage site equipment, ensuring the continuous operation through ordinary/extraordinary maintenance and repairs, as directed by the Vessel Equipment Engineer (or Chief Engineer / 2nd Engineer, if applicable)
  • Coordinate the team of Mechanics Offshore during his/her shift, in order to ensure that the work is carried out safely, in compliance with quality requirements and within establish time schedules
  • Ensure compliance with the Permit-to-Work system and isolation standards (if applicable)
  • Ensure compliance with daily Tool box talks meeting and JSA (if required)
  • Report any incidents and near-miss events
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping in the work area, ensuring it is free from any safety hazards
  • Inform the Vessel Equipment Engineer of any equipment malfunctioning or abnormal conditions
  • Intervene with own team to rectify equipment mechanical breakdowns

Electrician

About the job

  • Perform the electrical works in accordance with safety and quality requirements
  • Perform electrical or electronic wiring connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets and any other electrical apparatus
  • Ensure the works are carried out according to project drawings
  • Verify the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to Foreman Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
  • Ensure coordination with the adjacent works to minimize coactivities and eliminate unsafe conditions
  • Follow the permit-to-work statement
  • Ensure the housekeeping of the work location

We are currently looking for a Rig Electrician, to join us at Saipem Luxembourg Angola Branch to support our project – SAIPEM 12000

Position: Rig Electrician

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Be safety minded during in all works and behaviours, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinates
  • Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan
  • Ensure that before any maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out, precautions are taken and the work permit is signed
  • Attend safety drills and meetings held on the rig
  • Apply all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Saipem and the Operator
  • Promptly report any safety hazard, accident, near-miss accident and non-conformance through proper channels
  • Carry good housekeeping in own working area
  • Maintain working areas, tools, equipment and safety harnesses in a safe, clean, tidy and orderly manner
  • Properly maintain electrical systems, switchboards, related electrical equipment, SCR control system, EO System and all electrical instrumentation including high/low voltage and DC System as per AMOS system

Qualifications

 

  • High school completed.

Language: Fluent in English

Labour Relationship: Fixed term contract

Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience related

IT Skills: MS office.
