FPU Mechanical Technician

Mission

Carry out maintenance and repair of mechanical production equipment in a safe
manner.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pipelay equipment.
• Maintain cranes and winches.
• Maintain and repair ILT, hydraulic and diesel hammer systems.
• Maintain pumps, hydraulic power packs, air compressors and diesel engines.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the working area.
• Follow pollution prevention and mitigation procedures.
• Participate in toolbox talks and Job Safety Analysis when required.
• Store tools in appropriate locations after use.
• Report incidents and near-miss events.
• Use required Personal Protective Equipment during the work shift.
• Attend emergency drills.
• Report to the Mechanic Foreman Offshore or other designated onboard function.

Mechanical Technician – Rope Access

Key Requirement

• IRATA Rope Access Level 3 certification is required and should be submitted
  together with the CV as a single PDF file.

Mission

Execute safe maintenance of mechanical rotating equipment and machinery in
compliance with HSE requirements, applicable regulations and international
standards.

Maintenance Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Identify and diagnose equipment breakdowns and anomalies.
• Inspect equipment, installations and materials during maintenance activities.
• Replace or repair defective components.
• Carry out maintenance tasks for mechanical components, devices, packages and systems.
• Maintain awareness of potential production problems.
• Coordinate with other departments to prevent inefficient operations.

Maintenance Reporting

• Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings when required.
• Prepare maintenance breakdown reports.
• Prepare operational data reports.
• Report issues involving materials, consumables and tools.
• Report maintenance progress and difficulties to the Foreman.
• Follow maintenance activities through a Work Order system.
• Update CMMS information.
• Complete maintenance documentation and data sheets.

Offshore Mechanic

Mission

• Follow pollution prevention and mitigation procedures.
• Participate in toolbox talks and Job Safety Analysis where required.
• Report incidents and near misses.
• Wear required PPE.
• Attend emergency drills.
• Report to the Mechanic Foreman Offshore or designated onboard management.

Offshore Mechanic Foreman

Mission

Manage and maintain offshore equipment through coordination of the assigned
team while respecting HSE and quality procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage offshore equipment and coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
• Coordinate Mechanics Offshore during the assigned shift.
• Ensure work is completed safely and within established schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work requirements.
• Ensure compliance with isolation standards where applicable.
• Participate in toolbox talks and Job Safety Analysis when required.
• Report incidents and near-miss events.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions or abnormal conditions.
• Coordinate mechanical breakdown repairs.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment.
• Report to the Vessel Equipment Engineer or designated Chief Engineer / Second Engineer.

Electrician

Main Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work according to safety and quality requirements.
• Carry out electrical and electronic wiring connections.
• Work with equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets and electrical apparatus.
• Follow project drawings.
• Inspect equipment and materials for safe operating conditions.
• Report equipment abnormalities.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using appropriate testing equipment.
• Coordinate with adjacent work activities.
• Follow Permit-to-Work requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping at the work location.
• Maintain electrical systems and switchboards.
• Work with electrical instrumentation and related systems.

Rig Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong safety focus during all work activities.
• Use compulsory protective equipment.
• Follow the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan.
• Ensure appropriate risk evaluation before maintenance activities.
• Follow Permit-to-Work procedures.
• Attend safety drills and meetings.
• Apply applicable Saipem and operator safety procedures.
• Report safety hazards, accidents, near misses and non-conformances.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Maintain tools, equipment and safety harnesses.
• Maintain electrical systems, switchboards and associated equipment.
• Maintain SCR control systems and electrical instrumentation.
